Windscreen replacement
With 22 years experience in fitting glass to cars you can be sure of a quality service, but if you haven't used Colchester Motorglass before we would like to take the opportunity to set out what we do.
1. upon arrival the technician will park in a curteous manner and find the customer
2. the technician will check the glass condition and that it matches the vehicle requirements,
at this point we will check previously agreed terms (price and payment method)
3. the technician will then check the vehicle is positioned in a safe manner and for any damage, pointing out anything that he feels the customer should be made aware of
4. the technician will then strip any parts required and safely remove the windscreen, cutting back any eurethane,
5. prepare the body and windscreen with the correct primer leaving it to cure for the prescribed period.
6. application of the new eurethane and fitment of the new glass, followed by re-installation of any removed parts,
checking that all trims are seated correctly,
7. finally the technician will check the the car is free from debris, clean and polish the windscreen making sure there is no mess left behind
8. the customer is then invited to inspect the vehicle for their satifaction,
9. the technician will complete the job with a bill of sale and an explanation as to when the vehicle is safe to drive.
